Flooded Church in Lincoln, MA
SERVPRO responded to a water damage in the basement of a church built in 1873 in which the cause of loss was a pipe bursting. The water affected 10 rooms and 2 hallways. The lower drywall walls and flooring in the basement were affected. The basement is comprised of primarily carpeted flooring, however in the Bathrooms, Kitchen, Storage room, and Airlock there is tile flooring.
SERVPRO removed cove base, discarded the affected building materials, drilled holes for wall cavity drying, extracted the Category 2 water, applied a botanical anti-microbial to all affected building materials, installed a generator, and proceeded to dry the structure using LGR dehumidification and axial air movers for evaporation, monitored daily.
