Toilet Overflows with Sewage
SERVPRO responded to an emergency sewage loss in a commercial property in which the cause of loss was a toilet on the main level getting backed up and overflowing with some solids. Water traveled down the toilet and onto the floor then migrated down through the floors register and into the basement creating a pool of sewage water.
SERVPRO received approval to pre-disinfect using a botanical based anti-microbial, install a 500 CFM HEPA filtered AFD (air filtration device) to remove airborne bacteria and particulates, extract the category 3 sewage, clean the affected surfaces and flooring, install drying equipment using LGR dehumidification and axial air movers for evaporation monitored daily per the IICRC S500 standard, then apply a final coat of a botanical based anti-microbial.
